HEAR: Terrence J & Devon Franklin Honored at the 2012 Crown Royal Black BE Next Awards

At the 2012 BE Next Awards on June 29th, 2012,  Terrence J (of  BET’s 106 & Park/ Think Like a Man) and Devon Franklin (Vice-President of Production at Columbia/ Sony Pictures) were honored. Crown Royal Black alongside the brands of 100 Urban Entrepreneurs, HerStory Entertainment, and Ethno Nightlife  hosted the event with a collective of entertainers, entrepreneurs, & industry executives who came together during BET Week 2012 to highlight the nation’s NEXT generation of rising stars in politics, education, business, community, and entertainment.

Franklin who recently proposed to actress Megan Good stated in his acceptance speech, “Where do we go from here? The community needs the most help and that is exactly where we need to go, we need to meet the need and create the purpose that God has put within us”. Surrounded in a room full of notable entertainers and young entrepreneurs the words of wisdom of  both Terrence and Devon brought light and encouragement to all who were in attendance. Terrence J with a huge child like smile while accepting his award was gracious and thankful for the journey which molded him into his success. Also honored with both of these men was Vic Hill, Entrepreneur & President of 100 Young Black Men of Los Angeles as well as David Mcghee, Program Director for, 100 Men 100 Boys.
