A Taste of Sexy, Satisfaction

The phrase “save room for your desert” never gets old, merely because dinner doesn’t hit the spot if dessert isn’t served. It’s the very last serving of food a person receives before calling it quits on the meal dinner. Most people enjoy saving the best for last, which usually consists of dessert. I have the hugest sweet tooth anyone could imagine, and if your taste buds are anything like mine you’ll love this dessert recipe. Strawberry Margarita Mousse it’s simple, sexy, and yet fun to make.
All you’ll need is: 4 eggs (separated), 3/4 cup sugar,1(3-ounce) box strawberry flavored gelatin, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice, 1/4 cup fresh lime juice, 1/4 cup limeade, 1/4 cup fresh orange juice, 3 tablespoon red food coloring, 1 teaspoon grated lime zest, 3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar, 1 cup heavy cream (whipped until stiff), 1 cup small diced strawberries, red sanding sugar for garnish, strawberry slices, and fresh mint for garnish, and most importantly margarita glasses courtesy of Paula Deen.
The great thing about this dessert is the ingredients are affordable and can be purchased at your local grocery store. It takes roughly two hours to prepare, including the dicing, mixing, and the additional ten-minute cook time. Not bad timing for a mouth-watering dessert right? This particular dessert is absolutely the best of both worlds. Margarita Mousse can go wonderful with a romantic candle light dinner for two on the beach front of a sunset glaring into the eyes of that special someone, or for the singles ready to mingle simply fixing that late night sweet tooth so many of us have. This delicious treat can be served at almost any occasion.
